Anita and I were reared in neighborhoods that were primarily Jewish, where parents were almost all first-generation.  Every fiber of our bodies is Jewish as is that of our daughter, Ellen, president of our foundation, and our son Robert.

Our primary concern is the Jewish community of Cleveland and its various agencies, particularly the homes for the aged and Jewish Family Service Association.  We also avidly support the struggle against ethnic religious bias against Jews and others.

It is our fervent desire that our heirs remember their origins and continue their support through the generations, and that they always remember and help those who are less fortunate.
