Beth Brandon

I am fortunate to come from a family tradition of giving. This tradition goes back to my grandfather who came from a small town in Russia and had no money. As the people from his village settled in New York, they would periodically pass the hat for those from his Russian town who were needier than themselves.
This is where the value of "Federated" giving first started in my family. This tradition was passed down to his children, my father, and then to me. My parents believed strongly in the ability of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland to be a strong steward of our dollars. I hope to model the privilege of giving back to my children.
I have been beyond lucky to marry into a family that shares these values. With the unending support of my husband,
I am honored to be able to endow my Lion of Judah gift to the Federation.
