By establishing this endowment, we were able to accomplish several personal goals at once.  We feel very fortunate to be in a position to give something back to the community that has supported us and our family for many years.  By our example, we hope to encourage our children to keep the community in mind when they are able to make such a gift themselves.  Giving is important to us, whether with dollars or volunteer time and expertise.  Finally, we wanted our family to be relieved of the burden of making these important and sensitive decisions for us after we’re gone.
