We grew up with very modest philanthropic roots. Each of our parents gave within their means. However, they demonstrated significant community leadership in other ways, and we were imbued with a strong sense of duty, righteousness, and responsibility – the core tenets of tikkun olam and tzedakah.

Our endowment contribution is inspired by our conviction to Jewish continuity worldwide, our belief in the strength and wisdom of collective giving, and in recognition of the Cleveland Jewish community’s considerable role in shaping our family’s own personal Jewish lives.
