My parents have always emphasized the value of giving and their legacy includes Israel Bonds, Shoes for Kids and Montefiore.

I have tried to follow in their footsteps, choosing in both my personal and professional life to find a way to contribute to the community–to practice tikkun olam. Nancy shares these values and joins me in making this commitment.

It gives me great pleasure to join the Legacy Society by creating the Sayre/Wurzel  Family Charitable Fund in honor of my parents, Alice and Morrie Sayre, and, under the auspices of the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, to perpetuate the interests of the Sayre family for generations to come.
