We were fortunate to have had parents and grandparents who cared about and helped their fellow Jews, sharing what little they had.  Their concerns were the traditional ones of assisting widows, orphans, the elderly and supporting Jewish education and, after the Holocaust, helping survivors rebuild their lives.

We have continued their work by helping strengthen our Jewish community here in Cleveland, nationally and in Israel as well as helping Jews in the former Soviet Union and Ethiopia.

Our Jewish heritage and tradition are so rich and our co-workers have been so inspiring that our participation has brought us great joy and satisfaction.

Through our family’s supporting foundation, we both teach and learn from our children as we practice the mitzvah of tzedakah together.
