Hal Lewis

My father’s family came to this country from Latvia in the early 20th century to work for a better life, and they found it here. The Lewis family always has been proud of our Judaism, and also grateful for the freedom we enjoy as U.S. citizens.
I remain mindful of the challenges our Jewish people have faced and overcome from generation to generation by reason of strength of character and resilience. It is my deepest hope my children and grandchildren will carry on this legacy of pride and gratitude as both Jews and Americans.
