During our lives, we have endeavored by participation and funding to improve the environment.  We believe that the Jewish Community Federation, through its talented and committed staff, is uniquely qualified to continue these services after we are both gone.

Stanley’s late father Abe Adelstein was, and his brother Dr. Herbert L. Adelstein is, a long–time dedicated Jewish Welfare Fund Appeal volunteer.  Stanley created one of the first Federation philanthropic funds on February 28, 1961.   Stanley served on the Federation’s Board of Trustees and many Federation committees.

In view of all of the above, it is entirely fitting that we have taken this action.
