In my life I have tried to make possible the practice of good deeds.  I believe it is important to go about these things with modesty and humility.  I am proud to be able to make a difference, and proud of our Jewish tradition and heritage.

No individual person can save the whole world, but we can work to save Jews who need our help.  And no individual person can know everything there is to know about our people.  But if you have a Jewish heart, and if you care enough to act on your beliefs, everything that’s important about our people and our history will fall into place for you.  And if we help others to develop that Jewish heart, the whole community will be strong and vibrant.

I believe in the power of community.  When we work together, we can get much more done.  I have been blessed to be a member of the community and am pleased to follow the leadership, since I know that so many good people here care about issues that make the Jewish community and the world a better place.
