Inspired by the philanthropic commitment and legacy that Karen’s parents Paul and Sandra Lipman shared with her, the Lipman Steiger Foundation exists to provide our family the opportunity to contribute to organizations whose missions and actions will benefit humanity and nature. Rather than restrict the Foundation’s gifts to specific charities, the founders ask that each generation accept the responsibility and privilege of examining the world and find recipients that they believe can use their gift wisely and in service of their mission. With the support provided by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland and the collective knowledge of the trustees, we are confident that the Foundation’s gifts will make a difference.
