From our earliest memories our parents offered their personal time, effort and ideas to better Cleveland’s Jewish community and to assist those less able among us in the Jewish and greater community.  

As the years went on and their capacity increased, they provided additional financial support to organizations they believed could benefit most from such assistance.  

Dedicating a gift in their beloved memory to the Centennial Initiative for Jewish Cleveland, specifically to the hospice and palliative care programs at Montefiore, reflects their lifetime of values: helping those less able; comforting those in need; and assuring the community can continue to support all members, regardless of their condition.  

May this legacy honor our parents’ values and serve as an example to others–continuing their spirit of tzedakah–an underpinning of a caring and vibrant Jewish community.
