The seeds of our philanthropy were planted by our grandparents. They didn’t consider themselves poor because they could save pennies from their meager means for the pushke and help those less fortunate.

Those seeds flourished in Cleveland, known for its outstanding philanthropic institutions. Through our involvement in many organizations of the Jewish and general communities, we’ve learned that in Cleveland people of moderate wealth, with a strong commitment to service and charitable values, can rise to top leadership positions and make a difference.

It is our hope that this legacy gift will benefit this Jewish community that has so enriched our lives and will inspire a continued family tradition of tzedakah for generations to come.
