I keep a plaque on my desk that states “Live your life so that your children can tell their children that you not only stood for something wonderful — you acted on it.”

Shari and I have been very fortunate in our lives. We both have wonderful families and are blessed to live in the fantastic Jewish community of Cleveland, where we both have found communal and charitable places and opportunities to make our lives more meaningful and wonderful, as well as help others.

The organizations, agencies, and causes supported by the Federation, through the dollars of donors, are the reason this community is as fantastic as it is. Where would we be without these agencies and organizations?

As Shari has done several years ago, I am pleased to join all the other caring and thoughtful members of our community in committing to the Federation’s endowment so that the good work of the Federation can be carried into the next generations.
