Nathalie & James Diener

Ten years ago a resident of Menorah Park confided to me, “You changed my life.” When I asked her to elaborate, I was moved to tears. She explained, “When I entered the home I was despondent, discouraged and withdrew to my room. You constantly encouraged me to attend your activities and talked to me as an equal and as an intelligent woman. Slowly I became happier and actively involved in Menorah Park life. Eventually I was elected president of The Resident’s Association and received the Irene Zehman Volunteer Award. Thank you.”
I did not even remember my part in her rejuvenation. However, I grasped the importance that minor, seemingly inconsequential acts of caring and kindness can enhance the quality of many lives.
We hope this gift may help many individuals reach their potential ‘L’dor Vador’ in a world of love and peace.
