I feel that I am a very fortunate woman. My parents prized education, encouraging me to develop a curious mind, many artistic talents, a love of travel, theater, decorative arts and culture. My visits to over 125 countries have taught me how well connected we all are, how alike in our basic needs, and how much one person can do in this world to make a difference in the lives of others.

I believe that what we give comes back to us many times over. I am proud and pleased to be a Lion of Judah and to have endowed my gift forever. I have no children of my own, but I hope that someday someone will read my name and my message, wonder what kind of a woman I was, and follow my example by doing something to help make this a better world. If I am remembered as a person who cared about others and tried to do what was right, that will be my finest legacy.
