My Dad was 17 when he left his pogrom plagued shtetl in czarist controlled Lithuania for America, alone, scared and homesick.

He brought with him, and later passed to his children, his love of family, love of Judaism and longing to be an American. My Mom grew up in a sterile, loveless orphanage dreaming of family and continuity.  She transmitted these longings to her children as the essence of life. My beloved Sam and I gloried in each of our sons and our life together. We felt pride and gratitude that we were Jews and Americans and felt blessed with our beautiful family. Sam was never to know our precious grandchildren. The FOREVER! Endowment is one way for me to pass on to them the ideals we cherish, given to us in sacred trust by our parents, L’dor Vador.
