We both came from families with deep commitments to Judaism and Jewish people around the world. Tzedakah is an important value we learned from our parents.

We have been blessed to raise our three boys in Cleveland’s vibrant, cohesive Jewish community. The building of this community has, in large part, been coordinated and led by the Jewish Federation of Cleveland. Not only has the Federation been instrumental in the development of our local Jewish community, but it has also been a leader in helping Jews in Israel and around the world.

Particularly impressive to us has been Federation’s support of Jewish education, specifically day schools.  We believe that day schools are an important component in helping assure Jewish continuity for future generations. That is why we have targeted part of our estate to support and promote day school education in the Cleveland area.
