Philanthropy is very personal: a manifestation of our most dearly held beliefs developed over a lifetime.  Derived from our Jewish teachings, we believe that Mitzvot are most effectively transmitted by example within families.  In establishing the Robert & Susan R. Hurwitz Family Foundation we are acting on the examples set by our parents and grandparents (of blessed memory) and conveying to our already dedicated adult children, and their children, the opportunity to continue our deeply held family value of Tzedakah. We are profoundly grateful to be able to do so.
